It's a beautiful dawn

Been a while since I woke up before what it seems like the rest of the world.
I love watching the lights go up through other people's windows as I watch from a careful distance, wondering what it must be to be in that person's life.
Do they wake up with the same daily worries as mine? Do they stretch in bed before they turn on their lights? Miss somebody the moment they awake?

A security guard was watching me from below. Probably, doing the exact same thing... wondering what makes other people tick. What the individual world is like when each awake from temporary death. Unlike the rest of the people I watched from my balcony, he smiled and gave me a good morning wave.

I quite like that - having a stranger say a mumbled "hey, how're u doing?" or just a little wave, however insincere it may be.

Morning light is starting to filter thru now. It's beautiful.
More lights are on. Are they doing assignments? Making breakfast?
The Tir,
